Great stuff. SEO is not so much about one particular thing, but about so many little things combined. These five are just the tip of the ice berg. But a good place to start.

All of your tips are great on-page SEO tactics. However, off-page SEO is where the real value lies.

Things like inbound links (their relevance and page rank), anchor text on other sites, geo-targeting, etc. all influence search results more because they are so hard to build (unlike a few HTML tweaks).

I think you should update tip 3, because the search engines don’t look at the keywords tag anymore. Google for a couple of years now and Yahoo! declared it a couple of weeks ago.
