I love all your blogs your very good at this. You always provide helpful information. Thanks alot for sharing your knowledge and experience with me through all your articles. Ive only today just created my own blog at http://takeyourdreams.blogspot.com/ its not good at all at the moment but im sure it will improve in time. Its hard thinking on what content to put on i think. But i see you have no problem with that lol. I really congratulate you and i hope someday my blog will be atleast half successful as your blog looks. If anybody has any suggestions or tips or tricks for a blogging newbie lol feel free to share with me thanks!

@Robert Bravery: Those are two truths in your comment: For adsense you need traffic, and it is not a consistent income. But both are things you can work on, and that’s a good thing.

I agree, Google Adsense is no get rich quick scheme.

Making money on Google takes one thing mainly. That is traffic. At the moment Google does not offer a huge CPM. Cost per thousand if you do not know.

I’m currently below $2. How much, I can’t tell you obviously. But it more than $0. But it isnot consistent. I have it go as low as $0.07 CPM. My CTR (Click Through Rate is 0.55%. which is above average for Adsense.

So to earn $200 per month I would have to have 100 000 ad impressions per month. Say I have 5 ads on my blog. THen I would have to have 20 000 page views per month.

To some that is easily achieved. TO others it is not.
Just something to put it into perspective.

Thanks for debunking the “get rich quick” BS that’s out there. (It was one of those ads that started me on the info searching path that led me to iCan’tInternet.) Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It’s very helpful information. Can you give me a sense of the level of effort that is required to get to the rewards you mention (US$20/mo initially, rising to $200/mo.)? I understand you can’t provide an accurate estimate because of all the variables, but a sense of it (even if it’s only an order of magnitude) would be really helpful.
